The apartment
This apartment will make you fall in love of the energy and light of the modern Barcelona. It has recently been renovated and well-furnished. It lodges up to 6 people: two double bed bedrooms and one bedroom with two single beds. It also has two bathrooms. In this 110 m2 you will find all the necessary amenities for a memorable holiday in the Catalan capital.
The apartment is located in a building with lift and situated near Plaza Catalunya, the main square in Barcelona. The spacious and bright living room, with white walls offers you a relaxing
and well-equipped area with plasma TV, DVD player, 1 armchair, air conditioner, a sofa. The living room opens onto a balcony, ideal to enjoy the morning breeze having breakfast in the morning sun. On the other side, it opens onto the dining room with a big crystal table and four chairs.
Next to the living room area you will find a modern kitchen where home-made food can be served directly at the kitchen table. Any recipe can be cooked because in the kitchen you will find all the equipment you need: oven, microwave, kettle, coffee machine, kitchenware, cutlery and pots, dishwasher and washing machine as well.
The bedrooms are 3: 2 of them with king size bed with balcony access, one of them has in-suite bathroom. The other one equipped with two single beds. All rooms have a built-in wardrobe and are whitewashed with a light violet, blue and pink that conceive an idea of tranquillity.
Both bathroom have a large sink, a bath, a bidet and useful shelves and cabinets.
All over the apartments there is the heating and air conditioning, and of course, free Wi -Fi.
The area
If you want to stay in the center of Barcelona you cannot ask for anything better because this holiday apartment is located 8 minutes on foot from Plaza Catalunya, the main square, the geographical center of Barcelona and an important hub for public transport: metro, trains, buses and sightseeing buses leave from here every day. Many avenues and touristic place begin from Plaza Catalunya like Passeig de Gràcia, with the modernist houses of Gaudi, the famous boulevard La Rambla, Portal de l'Angel, the shopping street and Plaza Universitat, where the university historic building rises.
The area where this Be Barcelona apartment is located is called Eixample, a very quiet and safe borough, the nearest underground station is Urquinaona where the red line (L1) runs. If you do not fancy the metro, the bus B24 or 19 will bring you in 15 minutes to the Sagrada Familia, one of the most important churches in the world and the pearl of the city of Barcelona.
The holiday apartment is also located near the boundary of the borough El Born, an area famous for its antique market and the typical medieval narrow alleyways filled with restaurants and tapas bars. If you cross the borough you will reach the Arc de Triomphe and the Parc de la Ciutadella, located in another beautiful area of Barcelona.
